To remove the crosshairs in the camera view of the OMAX ToupView program for Windows, you typically need to go into the program’s settings or toolbar options. Look for a menu related to overlays, reticles, or crosshairs and disable or uncheck the option to display crosshairs. If these options aren’t clearly labeled, refer to the user manual for specific instructions, as software interfaces can vary slightly.
The Omax ToupView repeatedly locks up, "(Not Responding)" spinning the Wheel of Death when attempting to end recording of a video (deselect the red "Record" button). Task Manager reports a WaitChainTraversal Issue. End Proccess closes the program but does not complete the codeq'ing of the H264 file rendering it unplayable: 0xc00d36c4 This file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt.
I work with Mac, I've downloaded the app Toup view, but nothing happens when I plug my camera into my computer, the application stays blurry and nothing happens.

As stated on the official website, the ToupView application is used and recognizes cameras that are ToupView branded.
"ToupView is totally compatible with ToupCam full series of digital cameras."
The OMAX ToupView software starts, recognizes the camera, but goes no further stating "Not Responding". The only way to stop the program is to restart the computer. I've tried this on two Windows 7 computers, both are fresh installed. The device manager shows that the device is installed and functioning. Any suggestions?

In this matter, I suggest you update your camera's driver. This can be the main reason why the program stops. Also, try to update the application. In newer versions, errors might be fixed. If you still encounter strange behavior with the program, try to contact the developer on the official website for further support.
How can I use "Count" within the Omax ToupView software? I'm trying to make the software count the number of particles within the image. Problem is that it doesn't count everything I'm interested in. I'm sure there is a way to specify a certain intensity or size range to count, but I don't know how to set this. I see a parameter menu, but I don't understand how to use it. There is nothing in the manual. Can you help? I have used Image J and other software to analysis images, but using the software that came with the microscope camera would be nice.

After you select Count from the Plugin menu, select Parameter from Settings. After that, specify the minimum and maxim size of the particle, the minimum and maxim area, the perimeter and click OK:
The software will count all the particles within the range specified by you. Once the counting process is complete, select Show All Results In Image from Settings. If you have problems, I recommend that you contact the developers and ask for futher instructions.
Receiving "process-fusion: not enough memory please use the x64 version." What should I do? Is the application available?

If the software indicates that you need another version, then I recommend checking the ToupTek website. There is a package compatible with the 64bit computing mode. I have downloaded and installed the application and it worked normally on a 64bit computer. I am running Windows 7 Professional x64 and the application doesn't give any error nor I have observed any strange behavior. I recommend downloading the latest version using the following link: http://www.touptek.com/download/showdownload.php?lang=en&id=2
